Our signature of quality...

Our cabinets are fastened together by means of industrial adhesives, pocket screws, recessed screws, and nails. Unlike many cabinet shops, we do not rely on glue and staples alone for structural strength. Straub Cabinetry believes in building heirloom quality cabinetry that you and future generations will enjoy without breaking your budget.
Our exceptional warranty attests to our commitment to quality.

Finish

We use finsh from one of the leading manufactures of professional wood finish. The top coat dries hard and clear. It does an exceptal job standing up to water and the common househod chemicals. This finish brings out the natural beauty of the wood.

Drawer Slides

Since drawer slides are used many times over the lifetime of the cabinetry, we have selected the under mount, full extension, ball bearing slide as our standard. The under mount slide provides better support of the drawer, increases the width of the drawer and provides full access. The upfront cost of this slide is a little more than the cheap flimsy ones but when you look at the life cycle you save money buying the quality drawer slide now.

We recommend the soft close option. The soft close means a quiet closing drawer every time and no more smashed fingers. The soft close enhances the quality and value of the cabinetry.

Hinges

In our quest for excellence we have selected the 120° concealed hinge from a leading European manufacture as our standard. This gives better access than the 105° hinges that are used by others.

Drawers

We have chosen dovetail joinery as the standard for our drawers. The engineering of the dovetail joint is one of the strongest there is. We do not use melamine for the sides of the drawers.

If the contemporary look is desired, the stainless steel Tandem Box by Blum is our recommendation. It’s sleek clean look will be a great additional to any kitchen. The Tandem Box has a wide range of options.

Sink bases

Straub Cabinetry continues to take the high road in construction of sink bases. An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. Have you ever seen a sink base destroyed when a leak happens? We start by taking cabinet grade plywood, then overlaying it with high-pressure laminate and sealing the seams. We believe that a sink base should not fall apart when a leak occurs.
